Passport Validity

All travelers must possess a valid passport with at least six months of validity remaining from the date of entry.

Additionally, your passport should be in good condition, with no damage or missing pages, as entry may be denied if it does not meet these criteria.

Visa Requirements

Most visitors to Cambodia will need a visa. There are several options available:
  1. E-Visa: Travelers can apply for an e-visa online through the official Cambodian government website. This process should be completed at least four days before your arrival. The e-visa allows for a stay of up to 30 days and is valid for entry through designated entry points.
  2. Visa on Arrival: If you prefer to obtain a visa upon arrival, this option is available at international airports and select land border crossings. You must present a passport-sized photo and pay the visa fee in US dollars.
  3. Tourist Visa: The standard tourist visa is valid for 30 days and can be extended once for an additional 30 days if needed.
Visa Requirements

Electronic Arrival Card

Starting September 1, 2024, travelers entering Cambodia by air at Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, or Sihanoukville international airports must complete an electronic Arrival Card within seven days before arrival. This requirement aims to streamline the entry process.

Additional Considerations

If you plan to work in Cambodia, you will need a special visa and a work permit from your employer, the Department of Labour and Social Affairs.
